Parent-Teacher Conferences

Conference Manager

videoposter001.webp

We are using Conference Manager as a parent-teacher booking system to help families and staff to organize our parent-teacher interviews. Parents will have to register (for free) in order to see their teachers available times.

Zoom Video Call Program

Zoom

Due to Covid19 restrictions, we will be having our parent-teacher interviews done virtually through Zoom. You can use it (for free) with your computer, tablet, or phone as long as there is a microphone ability. When you sign up for a time with the teacher, Conference Manager will let you know the Zoom link and your time you have chosen.

Volunteering

We value and recognize that volunteers enhance the learning experiences of our students and strengthen school and community relationships.

Our school welcomes parents, guardians and community members as volunteers who support the life of the school.

If you are interested in volunteering at Our Lady of Victory School, please contact your child's homeroom teacher or the school office.  A current Police Record Check, which includes vulnerable sector screening and Child Abuse Registry Check will be required of all volunteers.

Volunteer activities at Our Lady of Victory School include:

Parent Advisory Committee

The Who – What – Where – When – Why of the Parent Advisory Committee!

“Who is the P.A.C?” Having a child enrolled at Our Lady of Victory School automatically makes each parent/guardian a member of the Parent Advisory Committee. There is also a small P.A.C. “executive” that includes the President, Vice-President, Treasurer, and Secretary.

“What does the P.A.C do?” The Parent Advisory Committee meets monthly to get to know one another, discuss topics of interest, areas of concern, and to plan up-coming events. The P.A.C runs fundraisers to raise money that directly affects student learning, their school environment, and/or their safety.

“When can I meet other P.A.C members?” You are always welcome to attend any or all of the monthly 7:00 p.m. Parent Advisory Committee meetings (schedule to be provided). Meetings run approx. 1- 1 1/2 hours. There are always opportunities to be an “active” Parent Advisory Committee member.

“Why should I help the Parent Advisory Committee?” There are so many families in the Our Lady of Victory School community. If each family volunteered 1-2 hours a year the small group that has been working so hard on your behalf would have a much easier time of things. Life is busy for everyone with work, kids, home-life, church, volunteering, etc. How about making a small change this year and attend a meeting or two, chair a fundraiser, help with a fundraiser (pick-up, sort, or distribute), or attend one of our workshops. Please try to find the time – we need your support and your help!
